  • "Make not the calling of the Messenger (Muhammad sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) among you as your calling of one another, Allaah knows those of you who slip away under shelter (of some excuse without taking the permission to leave, from the Messenger SAW), And let those who oppose the Messenger's (Muhammad sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) commandment (i.e, his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements, etc.) (among the sects) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant, etc.) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them." [An-Noor (24):63]

  • Narrated Anas bin Malik:

    Once the Prophet wrote a letter or had an idea of writing a letter. The Prophet was told that they (rulers) would not read letters unless they were sealed. So the Prophet got a silver ring made with "Muhammad Allah's Apostle" engraved on it. As if I were just observing its white glitter in the hand of the Prophet [The Book of Knowledge Volume 1, Book 3, Hadeeth 65]
