  • "Verily! Those who disbelieve and hinder (men) from the Path of Allaah, and from Al-Masjid-al- Haram (at Makkah) which We have made (open) to (all) men, the dweller in it and the visitor from the country are equal there [as regards its sanctity and pilgrimage (Hajj and 'Umrah)], And whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e, practise polytheism and leave Islaamic Monotheism), him We shall cause to taste a painful torment." [Al-Hajj (22):25]

  • Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:

    Once Allah's Apostle remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the 'Asr prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (not washing them properly) so the Prophet addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice, "Save your heels from the fire." [The Book of Knowledge Volume 1, Book 3, Hadeeth 96]
