  • "Is it wonder for mankind that We have sent Our Inspiration to a man from among themselves (i.e, Prophet Muhammad sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) (saying): "Warn mankind (of the coming torment in Hell), and give good news to those who believe (in the Oneness of Allaah and in His Prophet Muhammad sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) that they shall have with their Lord the rewards of their good deeds?" (But) the disbelievers say: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer (i.e, Prophet Muhammad sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam and the Qur'aan)!" [Yoonus (10):2]

  • Narrated Anas:

    Allah's Apostle said, "From among the portents of the Hour are (the following):
    1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men).
    2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.
    3. Drinking of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common).
    4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse.
