Send amongst them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allaah answered their invocation by sending Muhammad sal-Allaah 'alayhe wa sallam ), who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (this Qur'aan) and Al- Hikmah (full knowledge of the Islaamic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or Prophethood, etc.), and sanctify them, Verily!   • Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

    We were with the Prophet and a spadix of date-palm tree was brought to him. On that he said, "Amongst the trees, there is a tree which resembles a Muslim." I wanted to say that it was the date-palm tree but as I was the youngest of all (of them) I kept quiet. And then the Prophet said, "It is the date-palm tree." [The Book of Knowledge Volume 1, Book 3, Hadeeth 72]
