  • "See they not what is before them and what is behind them, of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We shall sink the earth with them, or cause a piece of the heaven to fall upon them, Verily, in this is a sign for every faithful believer that [believes in the Oneness of Allaah], and turns to Allaah (in all affairs with humility and in repentance)."   • Narrated Anas:

    Allah's Apostle said, "From among the portents of the Hour are (the following):
    1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men).
    2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.
    3. Drinking of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common).
    4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse.
