  • "On the Day they will see the angels, no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimoon (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) that day, And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden for you," [None will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: La Ilaaha ill-Allaah, "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations]."   • Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

    Somebody said to the Prophet (during his last Hajj), "I did the slaughtering before doing the Rami.' The Prophet beckoned with his hand and said, "There is no harm in that." Then another person said. "I got my head shaved before offering the sacrifice." The Prophet beckoned with his hand saying, "There is no harm in that." [The Book of Knowledge Volume 1, Book 3, Hadeeth 84]
