  • "There has already been a sign for you (O Jews) in the two armies that met (in combat i.e, the battle of Badr): One was fighting in the Cause of Allaah, and as for the other (they) were disbelievers, They (the believers) saw them (the disbelievers) with their own eyes twice their number (although they were thrice their number), And Allaah supports with His Victory whom He pleases, Verily, in this is a lesson for those who understand, (See Verse 8:44)."     The Prophet said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights."
