  • "And do not kill anyone which Allaah has forbidden, except for a just cause, And whoever is killed (intentionally with hostility and oppression and not by mistake), We have given his heir the authority [(to demand Qisas, Law of Equality in punishment or to forgive, or to take Diya (blood money)], But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e he should not kill except the killer only), Verily, he is helped (by the Islaamic law)." [Al-Israa' (17):33]

  • Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:

    The Prophet said, "Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up.
    1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.
    2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
    3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.
    4. Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner."
